CA/Updated ISO 20022 Lynx Message Now Available

On July 19, Payments Canada published updated ISO 20022 message specifications for Lynx, the high-value payments system, which will begin to accept these types of messages in November 2022.

The technical documentation and companion documents are available in the ISO 20022 Resource Centre.

Direct and indirect clearers must register at least 180 days prior to their intended implementation date. The onboarding process requires Automated Clearing Settlement System (ACSS) direct clearers to test inter-financial exchange of ISO 20022 messages and indirect clearers will coordinate implementation with their clearing agent.
