Released on July 7 by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the Crypto-Asset Roadmap 2022-2023 focuses on the following projects :

  • Crypto and Digital Assets which primarily focus will be issues relating to market integrity and investor protection, more precisely (i) fair, orderly trading, transparent markets, suitability and market manipulation, and (ii) safekeeping, custody and soundness.

  • Decentralized Finance (DeFi) to further explore the market integrity, investor protection and financial stability related risks in order to develop a common understanding of the trends and risks and provide guidance to IOSCO members on how to manage these risks.

Reports on each working group that will include proposed policy recommendations are scheduled to be released in 2023.
