The World Economic Forum (WEF) published its Briefing Paper on digital currencies. The Digital Currency Governance Consortium, which was formed early last year, assembles over eighty public and private organizations and provides a forum to discuss key policy and governance issues.

The recent paper features eight priority topics relating to the value-proposition of digitial currencies for financially under-served populations and the choices and opportunities in the development of the regulatory and technology frameworks.
