Déborah Koualé

Founder & Director

Déborah is Founder & Director of Ameis Regulatory Services. Passionate about regulatory and compliance topics, Déborah promotes practical solutions to help companies prepare and adapt for change in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. A legal and compliance professional, she has over ten years experience working with investment management, banking and asset servicing companies.

 

Her expertise includes:

  •  Legal advice and compliance advisory

  •  Regulatory monitoring and reporting

  •  Regulatory project planning, management and oversight

  •  Funds formation, structuring, liquidation and dissolution

  •  Preparation and review of fund's legal documentation

  •  Contracts drafting and negotiation

  •  Communication with regulators and industry associations

  •  Training on regulatory topics, operational preparedness, change management

Qualifications and affiliations:

She has a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Lille 2 University, a Master of Business Management & Social Law from Pantheon – Sorbonne University and a LLM in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

She has completed the Canadian Securities Institute’s Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH), Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO) and Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Examination (CCO).

Carolyn Jew - Le Quéré

Director, Operations 

Carolyn is Director, Operations, providing support in client development and growth, marketing efforts, and stakeholder communications.

She has over fifteen years experience working in the financial services industry.

Her expertise includes:

  • Marketing & communications

  • Data analysis and reporting

 

Qualifications and affiliations:

She has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University.
