22/09/2022 - Coming into force of certain requirements regarding the Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, introduced by Bill 64, including but limited to:

Appointment of a Privacy Officer
Mandatory reporting of ‘Confidentiality Incident” to the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI)
Disclosure of commercial transactions without consent subject to contractual agreement
Disclosure of personal information without prior consent for study, research, or statistics
Mandatory notification of the CAI of the creation of a database of biometric characteristics and measurements promptly and no later than 60 days before the database goes live
